Mustafa Abbas is an award-winning Emirati writer and director. One of his many highlights was being the guest of honor at a ceremony held by Dubai Customs where he was awarded for his work as an Emirati filmmaker. Recently, Mustafa has completed his latest project The Long Game.

We discuss film, the art of story telling, and importance of structure. But we didn’t stop there, we went beyond the normal “writer-director-film-maker-conversation” and discussing the deep philosophies which are the underpinning of his success. Namely the grace of God, Fate, destiny, power of choice, intention, and listening for God’s sign, listening and knowing who you are, and listening to those around you.
